A world famous image of  farmer Larry Ballestra who owned the fields of     R1 & R2.   Larry was a rare 'breed' in that he cared about peoples sense of discovery, allowing the public en mass to have access so they could see and experience the formation 1st hand.  Additionally Larry showed a willing cooperation with our investigation showing a keen interest in the research.

1 of 3 eye witnesses who saw B.O.L. (Balls of Light) activity around 11:30-12:00 AM.   As these witnesses live directly across the street they were also out around 2:00 PM for a 1/2 hour or so carefully looking over at the field wondering about the lights they saw earlier that evening.  They saw or heard no activity that 4 individuals would have been obviously making to create these circles as a hoax.

Huge fizzures as deep as 17" in some spots were in the exact center of every circle, evidenced after the crowds had trampled all the crop down to the bare Earth.  Even Larry Ballestra had noted these unusual crevices as not being a characteristic feature of the ground.  These were not pole holes.  They were huge fault like cracks.   All in the center location only of each circle.
